Wildfire Smoke Training

This class covers the requirements identified in WAC 296-820 (Washington wildfire smoke), OAR 437-002-1081 (Oregon OSHA wildfire smoke), WAC 296-842 and 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection.

This 1 hour class is designed for employers, supervisors, and safety personnel who need to understand and implement the wildfire smoke rules in Washington and Oregon. Participants are provided an outline of the employer’s obligations and the elements of a compliant wildfire smoke response plan. This class is not intended as employee-level training; a toolbox talk is available separately for that purpose.
